Committee Activities: The Law of the Sea Committee is pursuing possible publication of its definitions project. The Committee has developed a resolution regarding U.S. acceptance of the LOS Convention. In the future, the Committee anticipates working closely with the ILA Baselines Committee and expects projects to develop out of that collaboration. The Committee also plans to organize panel discussions centering around law of the sea issues, e.g., the ILW 2009 panel on the Arctic.
